Whilst chocolate eggs and happy bunnies are lots of fun, behind Easter lies a dramatic tale of passion, politics, mystery and ecstasy. In the coming weeks, Inspire Church will retell that story through three special services.
On Sunday 17th April – Palm Sunday – Jo West will lead us through the life and ministry of Jesus and the revolutionary road that brought Jesus to Jerusalem through a mixture of short sketches and dialogues.
On Friday 22nd April – Good Friday – we will have a short service to remember the scandal and passion that led to the brutal execution of Jesus on a cross. Through music and reflection, The Price of Passion will be a moving experience that will conclude with hot cross buns and a walk of witness with the other churches in Levenshulme.
On Sunday 25th April – Easter Sunday – we will celebrate! Because at the end of the drama and despair there is a bold message of hope and the promise of new life and a fresh start.
