Living Water

Throughout human history water has been a powerful symbol of life: thirst-quenching, refreshing and purifying yet at times deep and dangerous. Jesus himself spoke of living water in all its abundance and yet today 844 million people still have no access to clean water in our world and even in the UK water is a growing problem.

So we thought in the coming weeks we’d explore water for ourselves. What does the Bible say about it? How do we use it? And how does it connect spirituality with social justice?

This week we’re beginning the series by exploring the separation of the waters in the creation story in Genesis. Come along and let’s plunge in together.
